5 Steps to Funding Eureka Campus In this workshop I’ve assembled in my own world a first-on plan to fund the first Eureka Campus and focus our efforts on developing a real campus life, as opposed to waiting for our people and university to recognize how crazy a life is and develop a meaningful, positive vision for our city and community. I’ve designed and built the Eureka Campus. Each of these projects includes a vision of sustainable, affordable housing, community centers and a community based on the principles of fair housing, equity, social justice, a way to build the values. Without it, our city would not thrive, and many of the problems I’ve talked about will never improve. So what if we can help our city? Why did this decision be made at all? When the Board of Directors and the Board of Regents reached out to state and local partners to ensure that at least $5 million in funding from this plan be matched, MSAA’s community development team offered to expand their expertise with a 10-year contract to create those creative spaces. MSAA is also working in partnership with the Council of the City of Central Pennsylvania to provide affordable housing for 20 new residential units developed at Eureka. We will continue to work with our tenants in the city to provide the resources needed to make our city more special. As I emphasized earlier, each of these affordable housing developments will be considered and evaluated by MSAA for funding to fund expansion. Part of the funding will be retained for public transit, but more than that much will come from housing bonds and high school tuition rates.
